In 2005, an expectant father discovered he was going to have a baby girl. Overwhelmed with joy, he decided to name her Ada, in honour of Ada Lovelace, the pioneering mathematician recognised as the first computer programmer who penned an algorithm a century before the first computer was even constructed.
The following year, in 2006, baby Ada arrived into the world weighing precisely 2,500g, a number intriguingly reflecting the formula 2^2*(5^2)^2.
Desiring to secure a promising digital future for his daughter, Ada's father went ahead and procured several domain names inspired by her name. These included AdaCRM, AdaNanotech, AdaBionics, AdaBiotech, and notably, AdaRobotech. At the time, he wasn't certain of the career path she would embark upon, but he felt it prudent to keep her options open.
Fast-forward seventeen years, and Ada emerged as an exemplary STEM student, opting for Computer Science as her A-Level specialisation.
By July 2023, her passion for technology and innovation led her to successfully gain a spot at the Inspirit AI for AI Scholars summer programme, where she settled on focusing on Natural Language Processing (NLP) for her project.
The consequence of this journey was the establishment of Ada Robotech on 20th July 2023, with Ada stepping into the role of its inaugural programmer. The "adarobotech.com" domain, which had lain dormant for 17 years, sprang to life, marking the start of Ada's professional venture with Ada Robotech.
This venture owes a debt of gratitude to its founding members: Sai-hoong Chan and Ada's mother, Jirattikarn, who championed and backed the concept from the outset.
